Anybody here besides me remember when you could open the hood, lean over the engine, look down, and see the pavement? Those days are long, long gone, unfortunately.

I've had two cars I could put a stool between the grill and the engine and sit in there while changing a water pump on the front of their V8s, a 71 Pontiac Grandville and an 86 Lincoln Town Car. Pull the radiators, fan shroud (all easy) and just get comfortable. Those cars may have been massive, but so easy to werk on compared to the mechanical nightmares today. Pull motor mounts and jack up the engine to change belts, pull all kinds of stuff to reach a starter, just miseries to fix at home. Cramped inside, too, not near the legroom, yet a Honda Accord is as long as my Bonneville was, and weighs even more.

If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea...does that mean that one out of five enjoys it?
