Well, there's bad news and then there's...actually, there's only bad news.
Wife's Explorer: leaking high pressure hose on the power steering. $450.
My Infiniti AWD: bad left front wheel bearing, right front wheel bearing starting to go. $1,250.
That woulda paid for half a dozen skulls for the bike. Maybe even an eagle claw or two.

The wife's Explorer has a reman engine in it. Put it in about 3-4 years ago. She really loves "her truck", it's a Limited with V-8, leather, moonroof, power everything. I'll keep it as long as it makes financial sense. Yeah, the power steering hose is buried behind a ton of crap.
Anybody here besides me remember when you could open the hood, lean over the engine, look down, and see the pavement? Those days are long, long gone, unfortunately.
