I've always detested Brussels sprouts, and I'll eat anything. I was in a conversation on another web site, talking about food, and the topic was: "What goes good on Brussels sprouts?".

I said: "The only thing I like on top of Brussels sprouts is the lid of the garbage can!".

However, I have changed my mind. Yep, you heard it here first. How did that happen? I found a different way to cook them.

Cut off the little end piece, slice in half, quarters if they're big.

Put in a big bowl. Add some fresh sliced white onions. Lots if you like onions. Drizzle with olive oil, toss until coated.

Put foil on a flat baking sheet, spread out the sprouts & onions, salt and pepper. In the oven at 350. Figure about 30-40 minutes depending on your oven. Scoot 'em around so they roast evenly. Leave them in there until the loose leaves are turning dark and crispy.

You won't believe how good they taste. Positively buttery, with none of that bitter "Brussels sprouts" taste.
