My Troy Built is gonna have a 26th birthday this year. Still running strong, but a few years ago tore it down, new belts, adjusted everthing, cleaned the carb, starts first or second pull like it always has. Only use the 'lectric start when I'm werking on it (not often!). Drilling out that jet might help mine; last couple years it wants part choke till it's good & hot (and doesn't even get there sometimes), and has a lope when hot and no choke. It ain't gonna last a lot longer, be surprised if it makes it to 30 - just like cars, rust is gonna kill it. And worn out bushing. Car carries a lot of salt off the vastly oversalted streets around here (they "pre-salt" over the salt left from the last time it dint snow either), plus the pile of slush the plows push up at the end of the drive; wipes out blowers just like cars. Them Troy Builts are fine blowers.

Been a while since I've cut meself. Gf cut a finger kinda bad a couple times this winter; I got one a them fancy electric sharpeners, and my knives will filet a finger sooo easy. If ya use one of them round rod sharpener things on my knives, it dulls them. Other day I got close, shaved a whisker of skin and a piece of fingernail off, dint go deep enuf for any pain or blood.

I've done some good cuts in the past, though, not trying to say I never done stuf like that. Even had to ride a bike outta the woods at night where I wus camping, go find a doc to sew up a finger. Worst part of that wus finding the tent in the woods in the dark. later on...
