Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI
Late mornin, all ya cheerful posers.
Never been in Philly, but driving through those strip mines in the east, looked like some of the ugliest scenery I've seen in this country. Probably nice forest before the mining. Those old company shacks people were still living in looked like something out of a Depression movie. That was early 80's.
Last time in St Louey was changing trains at the big station (hear it's a shopping mall now). I remember a bunch of creeks and little rivers the train went over were rainbow colors, some bright green, blue, orange; what a polluted mess. Some of those neighborhoods the train went through dint look like places I'd wanna walk through at night. That wus back in '65, I wus 18 then, about to start college.

couple hours east of St. Louis... debated going to see the Budweiser brewery. Not a fan of big cities though.

Morning posers, never been to Philly I just assume all big cities are like Detroit and avoid them unless I"m looking for trouble or heading to a ball game. Been through St.louie a couple times never stayed.
Prefer English ales, and Irish stouts myself. Would like to do a beer of the month club, but no shipping alcohol into TN apparently.
Yep, that tn whiskey warped some minds when they made the laws.....
