A couple states have already refused to register them as motorcycles. A trike or Can-Am have the rider and passenger front-back, straddling the engine/tank, and handlebars. The SlingShot has side-by-side seating, a center console, a steering wheel, and foot operated gas, clutch, and brake. It's a three-wheeled car.

The problem? No airbags and it will NOT pass any mandatory car crash or safety specs.

Gonna get interesting, methinks.
our state requires a motorcycle license.....but thats purely for when the helmet law comes....pretty sure they are considered motorcycles , which is wrong in my book.

Was gonna have lunch with a Vet friend, but he called for a rain check, lower back pain today. Occasional to persistent back pain seems to be the rule when ya get old.

Had a dusting of snow a couple nights ago, trucks poured on the salt and this nice and this nice sunny day one came by and poured it in the cul de sac circle. ****, even in summer nobody does more than 10 mph going around the circle; now it's a salt soup like the rest of the roads. Two sunny days, you'd think it woulda dried, and would have without more salt, but they've put so much down it splashes on the piles next to the pavement and it makes more soup that spreads on the road. I've never seen them salt so heavy before - and if they'd ignored the last 2 or 3 less than an inch snows, it woulda been gone the next day anyway.

Getting hungry, since going out for pizza ain't happening, think it'll be hot ham and cheese on toast with some homemade bean soup - with enough chopped hot pepper in it to make it interesting...

Sure feeling lazy today, ain't got nuttin done yet.

Haven't ridden my Glide with lowers, will have to try it someday (think they're in the basement). But not when the roads are covered in salt soup.

I have leather/vinyl deals that go over my crash bars, it does help a little in the rain but when when it's raining, you're wet. Never used them in the cold but my legs don't really get cold or I don't notice them because I'm to busy thinking about my frozen hands.
