We're still up at 2.47-2.59 area. Of course our gas tax is among the highest in the nation. They just raised it by .10 the 1st of the year.
Yeah but it's worth it for the quality of the roads we have!(just bein' a wiseazz)

the grocery run wasn't bad. Started snowing pretty good, roads are covered. Sure is nice to drive on snow before they salt it. It'll be a wet slimy mess when the trucks start dumping. People here drive a lot more reasonably on snow than on salt wet roads, too.
Daughter quit her job. Second time she's done that since college. Worries me, but she says that's how folks move up in the business world. First job she had, folks told her she was welcome back anytime, probably the one she just quit, too, so she might have something to fall back on if the new job doesn't work out. Probably wouldn't have a problem getting another one, has had lunch with people that were trying to hire her. Oh man, I would loved a job like that, real quiet, no physical labor, nice office, sunlight and green stuff in winter, and so clean; don't think I ever had a really clean job. And she was the building boss there, won't be in the new job. Hope it works out, lotta folks out there can't find a job that pays well. Gonna miss having lunch with her at work - nice cafeteria there, too. Oh yeah, it paid fine, too.
goodbye... somebody's gonna be real happy to get her job.

Checkin in..... doin grudge stuff... balmy 11* now but amazingly the sun was shining all day so far!
Made it to 25* today, but a stiff wind kept the wind chill in the 12* area. Not a nice day.
Gas here has been in $1.75 range, except when they raise it $0.20 like they did today, for no good reason. Realistically, gas here should be well under $1.50, but the stations are reeling in the profits while they can.
