That's awful, ya can't get Netflix streaming in hd. Lot of their stuff is as good as my new tv gets. I get about 12 mb/sec. Cable company really improved the last 3-4 years; useta pay for 3 mb/sec, and was lucky when it actually got 300kb/sec. They finally upgraded some equipment that was over 20 years old, what a difference.

Grandkid still got to take the bus at around -10. Been some years they'd have had to extend school to July if they'd canceled below zero days.

They may cancell school if it gets down to -50 wind chill. Starting 2 hours late is what they do most of the time. That way still get the state money for the day. Not cold enough to cancell or start late this past week.

Morning posers, still cold, office window sucks really drafty so I stuffed some towels around the bottom to cut down the draft. My boss seen the towels and bought me a space heater that was nice of her.

Hadda pretty good day yesterday. Gonna try a grocery run today, 'posed to be above zero, shouldn't be too bad. 'Cept we're 'posed to get a little snow. Gonna try to get out early, rush hour starts around 11 am in town.

Yeah, nuttin dramatic, just a simple bullet to the head would satisfy me. ACLU would probly fuss about it, though.

Those plastic sheet window insulator kits with the double back tape werk real good for that. I hadda old window in this house that I just put a piece of 1/8 plexiglas in, sealed the edges with silicon sealer. The plastic inner piece never even got cold to the touch. That went away when I got new windows. Wunder how much heating bill a house would save if it had plastic inner windows...

Only down to 1* in Festusland this morning.

Chloe and I went out to get some firewood. Big flock of turkeys where in the back yard. Chloe put them all to flight. Fun stuff to watch 25+ turkeys emergency flying. They are big, ungainly takeroffers, but they can get it going. Wish I would have had a pic of the corgi herding turkeys.

People throwing kids off bridges, killing newspaper people, etc. I think we need a population adjustment.
