I didn't hunt at all this year Coastie....Weather was really crap all season....rain mostly and warm....Can't wait to see the numbers on the deer kill. Gotta be record low numbers. Every butcher shop I talked to was down 100-150 deer from their usual numbers.

Same to you guys. BTW first time ever ne deer for me...Last couple winters been brutal on the herd... we let the small bucks and yearlings walk this year. It doesn't really matter, just sitting in the solitude and quiet of the woods is enough for me...

Mornin Mark. Just January, this week's temps are actually more like normal up here. I just hope we don't get any of that -20 or worse, used to be common in January, actually been pretty good the past few years for not getting the extreme cold temps. Worst day I've seen here was back in the 90's, was -30 at 3:30 in the afternoon once. What a misery. I probably should use syn oil in the van, only change it once a year anyway. Sure turns over slow below zero with dino.
