I was 145 out of high school. Went in the army the next year, came out of basic 40 lbs heavier. None of it was fat. Oh, to be 185 lbs of lean again....

Less than an inch of white stuf last night, that's good, don't feel like dealing with it just yet. Gonna be a cool week ahead.

Man, if you guys keep throwing cuss words around like you are, I may have to go back under my rock!

It actually got warmer overnight, 28* right now, but the bottom is going fall out as the day progresses. Negative numbers tomorrow, perhaps. Ken declined my invitation to move firewood up from the lower storage area. Some friend he is!

I was 165 lbs from the time I graduated until I substituted ice cream for beer at 29. 195 lbs until I started college at 39. Now I am just a fat ***.

Sickness seems to be slowly moving on. 4 days of feeling really crummy was enough for me. Sitting and doing nothing all of the time just doesn't get it.

Mornin Mark. Just January, this week's temps are actually more like normal up here. I just hope we don't get any of that -20 or worse, used to be common in January, actually been pretty good the past few years for not getting the extreme cold temps. Worst day I've seen here was back in the 90's, was -30 at 3:30 in the afternoon once. What a misery. I probably should use syn oil in the van, only change it once a year anyway. Sure turns over slow below zero with dino.

I was about 140 coming out of High school, worked construction, masonry, landscaping made it up to about 180. Still there but I am trying to quit smoking and now my energy is through the roof but so is my appetite. We'll see how this works out, might end up a 300 pound non-smoker.

My truck has grunted a little bit the last 2 mornings, I turn the key on and let it sit for about 10 seconds before cranking seems to help, not sure why.

I was 185-190 from 20 to 45, didn't top 200 till I was in my 50's. Just took good health ('cept for back pain) for granted, never made much effort to take care of myself, and paid for it later.

I'm getting over whatever I have, been 3 weeks now. first 4 or 5 days were pretty awful, then it was mostly getting pooped with little effort. Yesterday was a big improvement, never got real tired. Flu has killed a few folks up here, it's a nasty one this year. Seems there's a couple strains the shots didn't work for.

Putting a little current through the battery, warms it up a bit. I've read that you really need to do that with Li batteries, turn the lights on for a few seconds and they crank better. I'll try to remember to turn the lights on for a few seconds next time in mine, see if it makes a difference; it turned over real slow and didn't start first try yesterday, but second try it cranked pretty good. I'm just running standard lead acid in the van. Darned little batteries today are marginal for sub zero use, can't even get 800-900 cca batteries for mine; they really worked good on previous cars that took full size batteries.
