Yep, not so many diesels, but a whole lot of jets and turbines. Worst ever though was a panic shot with an M16 in a room about 8' square. Didn't hear for a while... Only time I fired and didn't have time to do something for my ears first, that I can remember. Stupid tv shows have cops or bad guys shooting like crazy in a room and talking to each other - they'd have to use sign language for a couple days...

I got one worse for ya. Try having the feeling of a centipede doing a tap dance on the top side of your inner ear all DAMNED DAY!! It never goes away, I never get used to it. Had it for 12 years now.

Mandatory sorta when riding in Big red truck all passangers wear ear muffs w/boom mikes for comm, right seat is OIC and comm to central and eyes for driver laterally

Afternoon mens.
This ringing in my ears since my crash is driving me nuts. It will not let up. As long as there is some noise I,m ok but soon as it's dead silent all I hear is weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Sometimes louder some times not so loud but it's alway's freakin there.
