I often get up before 5am; I just go back to bed after I whiz...

I'd hoped my daughter would have great eyes, but she didn't. Found out when I was trying to teach her how to tell airliners apart (used to be like cars, could tell em apart, now they mostly look the same). Remember telling her, That's a DC10 making that contrail, has engines on the wing and one on the tail, and she said, what engines, that's just a dot up there. I've flown in airline cockpits and the guy on the controls couldn't see a plane when I could tell him what kind it was. Eye guy told me a couple years back I'd have 20/5 eyesight again with the latest artificial lenses (20/5 is reading the bottom row of letters), but insurance won't cover them here unless it's for cataracts, dammit. My Mom got those in her 70's, could read without glasses again. I'd sure like that, but would cost more than I'm willing.

 

 

Quicky with the ex... we get along, but no thanks, past that. Long past.
