I looked at em up to a couple grand, but the one that felt way most comfortable was one on sale for $350, cheapest one I sat in. Have no idea why it was so much cheaper, it's big, solid, and done fine for a few years now.

When I got this Lazyboy 10 years ago it was like $600. Been a great chair. Boy jumped on me an broke a spring plus all the foam is flat. Cant beat leather. If you want one that rocks and rackes out flat its gunna cost ya. Wont do fabric. Least not with kids. I got champaign taste and a malt liquor budget.

I hear ya on the fabric. Or "pleather".

Leather really is the way to go. Not cold in the winter, won't stick to you in the summer. And you can wipe up almost anything.

Almost.
