UC, that looks like Canadian weather next weekend.
Almost 50 yesterday, woulda been real nice 'cept for the rain. Got rid of the snow, though. Sure dint last long, white out there again this morning. Got some bike werk done, though.
Didn't even put insurance on the 883 this year, figured with the annual increases, time to save a little, had enough bikes running I dint need two sporties. Drained the gas outta it and donated it to the van (multi fuel engine, oughta handle it ok). Was gonna load it with fresh gas for the winter, but the fuel line crumbled a bit taking it off the petcock, so went ahead and pulled the tank. Let it dry out and it'll join a couple more in the basement. Has a patina of rust in it, probably should get one of those clean and seal kits for it next spring. Should sell it next spring, too. Daughter ain't in love with it no more since she's ridden it...

Tried that little lithium battery jumper on the daughter's Honda (all the bikes' batteries are in the basement) and it spun it like the plugs were out. Hmm, why not the 1200... The sporty has two positive wires, had just clamped them with the clips from the jumper battery. Put a bolt and nut on em, clipped to the bolt.. turned it over ok. Bit slow, but that one doesn't exactly spin with a full charged Harley battree, either. But a couple 2-3 second hits, and the jumper wires got warm. Guess with a weak battery, that jumper should werk fine. Just amazes me a battery that size would pull a Harley motor through a compression stroke.

I haven't had venison this year. SIL still gets plenty, but guess I ain't on the share list anymore since my daughter cut him loose. She quit hunting, too, says not enough time for it. She used to get them with bow and rifle.
Only hunting on 10 acres, sometimes you see'um and sometimes you don't.

Mark - asked this a couple days back, you probably missed it - Any chance Baker would make an automatic transmission?
