Wow, only one pm post yesturday. I shud probbly go back ta bed.
Woke up 1:30, sumbody's dog going yap, yap, yap continuously. Figured they'd let it out to pee and were having a cuppa. Finally dozed off. Woke up again after 3:00. Yap, yap, yap, non-stop. Wondered how to get away with driving the dog over to Wisconsin. Thought I'd eat a bit first. While I was enjoying the banana, cinnamon rolls, sausage and chocolate milk it got quiet. Poor dog missed his ride to Wisconsin. Like to see them leave him out that long on a 20 below January night, won't be any more barking, just a dogsickle on the front steps...
Darn, sausage all gone. Good stuf. 1 little cinnamon roll left.
Hooked that little lithium jump start battery up to the 1200 yesturday (bike's battery in the basement), thought if it started that guy's car with the battery unhooked in his video, oughta start a Harley, be a good test. Turned over one compression stroke and then just solenoid chatter. Well, cold engine, try again. Same thing. Felt the little jumper wires, oops, definitely warm. Ok, guy that made that video wasn't being real truthful somehow. Company that makes it says it'll start a car 20 times on a charge. Can't say I believe that now... I'll work it a couple times and re-charge, see if it improves. Only charged to 12.3V first time, and that quick test with the bike dropped it to 11.4. Thought it might be some peace of mind, having a little spare battery with the no-kick start Harleys, but thinking this ain't gonna do it. Does charge a cell phone just fine, though.
Food gone, I'll crawl back in the nest and try not to disturb anybody.
