I listened to a few dis heartened truck drivers while waiting at the scale house on I-84 in Danbury Ct.....the topic was drivers and the lack of pay and lack of actual drivers........that got me thinking, I 'm not getting paid nearly enough to put up with a raging nor'easter looming over us in the northeast......**** work! It's beer an follies for me tonight!

 

Naw.... I'm on dayshift this week. Off til comin back on Sunday night.

I may be taking a sunday to thursday gig, come january.....cold assed nights werking with just a roof over your head....no heat just freight an forklifts.......but it doesn't last forever and the pay will get better.

it seems i would be set with werk an ****, but it just didn't werk out that way.at 52 I'm no spring chicken and a warm cab beats a cold dock any day......but that warm cab also isn't steady werk.

 

Supposed to go to Doc today to see about getting stitches out. I am thinking NOT!

 

Nice Lou. I am think that now more than ever before that spraying Armour All on the seat might not be the best idea ever?
