Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI
When I make pancakes for the grandkid, put a touch of nutmeg and a fair amount of cinnamon in it, and a good dollop of vanilla. Tried cloves once, too, and daughter said it tasted like pumpkin pie... When she ain't looking, I mix in some brown sugar, too, kid loves it, but she doesn't want him gettin too much sugar. And then pours on plenty of blueberry syrup for him...

Why I don't ride on salt? Last winter, just one, Minneapolis area. Most folks don't ride through the winter here, but this thing's owner thought he could because he had a two wheel drive sidecar rig. I would expect some rust, but this is shocking.

He wanted $800 for the whole mess. I don't have room for the sidecar (indoors anyway) and he wouldn't split it in two parts. I bet I could have ebayed the sidecar for $500 even in that condition and over $1000 for the motor. Cleaned up and repainted, maybe $1000 for the sidecar, seen em on Craigslist asking $2500. Thought about it too long, someone else grabbed it. I coulda just put the car out in the garden, doubt it woulda hurt it much more. That newer 750 motor with way better carbs shoulda fit in my frame. With electric start. Dual seat with some padding. Wimpshield and fairing. Damn, why dint I grab it?
Got a new higher wattage headlight for it today; on high beam the alternator makes bad noises. Turn signals won't blink even on low beam. Back to the store for a standard sealed beam bulb. Oh well, who'da guessed Russian stuf would be so marginal?
