Looks like the coffee shop closed early today. Possible frost tonite, picked all the tomatoes with any red in them, all the peppers, squash and pumpkins. Not near half what I had last year. Might be spending a bit more on food next year... My only hot chili pepper plant that grew has a buncha dark green peppers on it, turn bright red when they're ripe. It's inna big pot in the dining room, don't wanna lose my hot chili peppers!

Streets are wet, musta rained again.

I'm having a rare weekend, gf's visiting sisters out of state, ex SIL has the grandkid. I wouldn't mind more of this. Going to some fancy restaurant overlooking the Mississippi river on the Wisconsin side tonight with my daughter, like my time with her. Hope she pays...

I got up too early, still dark out. At least the coffee's good. So are the leftover pancakes.

 

Mornin,Moldie...dawg was cryin ' and whinin' at 6 am., that's what time my wife usually gets up during the week. Wife says ' let him out he has to pee"...no he doesn't..wants to eat, he couldn't care less about peein'!....So now I'm up with nuttin' to do....

 

I have a lot to do - but it's mostly outside, where it's dark, damp, and trying hard to be winter. So I'm at the keyboard. Should get up and do something. Maybe I'll watch tv...

 

Be fun to go riding today... bundled up in blankets in the sidecar with someone else steering...
