UP here with our NOT SO FREE medicine, the average wait time in a hospital in London is 14 hours!!! Everybody and their brothers have a sneeze or catch a cold, run to Emerg. Hard to get a family doctor that is accepting new partients.

 

Sounds like the KR family needs to lock up all the sharp stuff and wear ff helmets.

Reminds me, gf jabbed one of my paring knives into a finger yesterday, musta gone near to the bone, bleed a long time. Right next to the last joint, can't bend her finger without tearing it open. Taped a wood splint on so she can't bend it without thinking. I'd just sharpened it about an hour before to cut up a buncha tomatoes. Way, way sharper than new. Got a three stage 'lectric sharpener, werks real good. Second time she's cut herself with my knives. I got her once; chopping veggies on a board, and she reached real quick under the knife to get sumptin on the other side of me. I dint stop quick enuf, but at least pulled back enuf it dint cut off 3 or 4 fingers, but nicked the side of her hand. Felt real bad about that. Wimen ain't got enuf sense of self preservation, gotta be careful around em. Wasn't as bad as this latest one, though, probly shoulda got a stitch or two.

Got my first call on the smarty phone today, figured out how to answer it! I'm so proud of meself. I hear these things take pictures, too.
