Just amazes me I've never broken a bone. All kinds of rips, tears, cuts dislocations, and once the biggest bruise I've ever seen, but somehow avoided breaks. Had more than one doc tell me I woulda healed faster if was a break. Still a mystery - had three holes in my pants leg, but doc only found two little bits of metal in me. Did one bounce off? Nuttin shows on x-rays. 'Cept unbroken bones...

Wonder if Superman visited your house while your dad was gone.

Morning guys. Slept in with Buster cuddled up as the temps are dropping in Michigan as we get into the fall. Had to turn on the furnace a few nights ago and had the boiler repaired properly at the apartments after it was initially installed incorrectly according to the manufacturers rep. Oh well it's all behind me now just have to pay for it all...Buster has been a good dog lately, quite the little buddy so were're going for a walk and might try to go for a ride later. Got in 18 holes this weekend and another 9 last night, the last night of our league for the year. Dr says not to overdo it but am fighting like crazy to keep weight off and BP down. Sucks getting old...Exercise does lower my blood sugar though. Also helps me sleep better as well as the cool nights.

Exercise does wonders for keeping the BP down. Take care!

Only show I will be seeing this year is Joe Bonamassa, at the 4500 seat Fabulous Fox Theater in St. Louis. I won't go to shows that are in any bigger venue than that.

I am kinda like Herb in stopping fists with my nose. It has been broken several times. Collarbone once (that sucked), a few finger and toes, and several ribs (on more than occasion). Fortunately, I have left the major bones alone.

Man, ya gotta learn to duck. Never took one in the face, though I got hit on toppa the head a couple times with some heavy objects. Worst was a BAR - as in, Browning Automatic Rifle. At least he dint try to shoot me with it, just rattled my brain a bit. I was wearing an Air Force style flight helmet at the time, probably woulda had a big dent in the head without it.
