I wonder if using that right arm the first time felt as good as my first step after being on crutches for a couple or three months. At least it's uphill from here.

Jdub wus kiddin about the choke/enrichment valve, right?

I's on crutches for 3 months after they removed bone spurs from my right achillies. I don't remember the first step being all that great. Gettin cold here.... 50 degrees on the ride in, with lotsa fog. Gonna have to get the OL her own car sooner than later.

Wasn't the step itself, just the fact that I could do it. Crutches... stairs suck, trying to carry anything sucks, just opening a door can suck. Was lucky, never had to deal with snow or mud - that was in Arizona in the summer.

Yeah, was still in the Army at the time. Worked on the 3rd floor of a building with no elevator. Hopping up the stairs got old real fast.

Morning all, never had to be on crutches, I did sprain my ankle once playing basket ball, I was mowing lawn for a living back then. Good thing I had a 48" walk behind to lean on. I think the only bone I ever broke was my jaw. That's really not a handicap other then having to eat through a straw and keeping my mouth shut. Keeping my mouth shut was actually a plus for the people around me.
