Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI
Gf just called; she tends to inundate you with details, sometimes for 5 to 15 minutes, then starts talking about something else and I have to ask what she was talking about. Only person I've ever met that can tell you all about something and you don't have a clue what she's talking about. Sometimes when I see it's happening, ask her what we're talking about so the details make sense.
Battery on my phone is down to about 10 minutes of talk time, and most folks that call me are just getting started in 10 minutes. Daughter and I often finish a phone call in less than a minute; wish more folks would do that, save the conversation for face time.
Yeah, need new phone, just waiting for the big price drop on the one I want; salesman said it will be this month. New phone is cheaper than new battery...
I could start one a them troll threads like "Does your GF take 20 minutes to ask what you want for supper?", probly get 20 pages, and a good one from Dicky.

Moldie...ya know it took you 10 minutes to type all that...uh...what were ya talkin' about anyway ? Sorry , I couldn't help myself
My GF is just the opposite she'll call ask what I'm doing, I'll tell her then she just hangs on the line. Drives me nuts, now customers on the other hand, oh buddy. Some will call up and tell me every detail, mod and boogie light they have put on their bike before they ask what kind of oil to run. Or the other kind that will ask a question and then keep talking so they never get an answer before they ask another question. Oh well guess that's why they pay me. Sometimes you just have to listen.....and listen.., and listen.........................
Hmmm, good point, got to work better then the sawsall.

did you know there are snap-rings on pegs now?!?!?!?
took ten minutes of looking at the pliers to figure them out

Not sure I'd feel comfy knowing a snap ring was holding my foot peg on.Then again if the peg does come off it will probably hit the person behind you.

My 1200 had pins with snap rings, when I got it home went over it real careful, and one of the pegs was missing the ring, damn lucky the pin didn't fall off on the 400 mile ride home. Screw those things, bikes all have nuts & bolts now.
A guy at a show was telling me a story about him and a buddy riding, he bought non-Harley pegs at the Harley dealer( wonder what kind those were) one came off bounced off the pavement and hit his buddy right in the mouth.
When my passenger floorboard broke off going into NY 2 years ago it didn't hit anybody at least.
