By driving an extra 20 miles roundtrip, I saved $11 in taxes on my chainsaw. The price for the saw was the same, both stores are in the same company, and they are in the same county. Freakin' towns that have insane tax rates don't deserve my money.

My wife would do that...except she would use $5 in gas to save $4 and spend 2 hours doing it.

there's a bunch of towns that implement a ''tax'' just to add to the coffers.....real annoying ones too! And usually in a democratic community too....hmmmmm wonder why?!
