Medicare's better and cheaper (with the supplemental insurance) than the one I had at werk (one of those the media and Republicans liked to call "Union Cadillac policies" - more like a VW Bug policy). That wus before the Union went away and it got worse...

When my brother and I were cleaning out Mom's house, found hundreds of pills in a dresser drawer. She'd been paying over $350/month, but never took a bunch of em. Her doc had wondered how she could have had a bad stroke with the meds she was on... $1000''s of pills in the garbage, probably could've sold some of em, but we weren't about to play in that game.
