Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI
Grocery stores are too expensive, 2-3 dollars a pound for tomatoes, over a dollar/pound for most fruits, often a dollar for a red bell pepper (bell peppers are tasteless compared to the long Italian sweets I grow). Wish I had more room, would like to have cauliflower, broccoli, lots more variety. Tomatoes and peppers are what I use most, and the biggest bang for the buck. Maybe not this year, though.

collard greens boiled with some ham is pretty good, same for Swiss chard cooked with bacon. Strangely enough, the pole beans are bearing more than ever before this year. Posted a pic of some of them yesterday, the one with leaves turning yellow already.
We have been having beautiful weather during the week (when I can't ride) and supposed to be rainy all weekend and then next week beautiful again!

On another thread today, they were talking about snow in Colorado and Montana already. Hope we don't get an early winter after that long lasting one we just had.
I hear that they have snow in Colorado already!

Seems like the best days happen when family and friends have something going on, can be frustrating. Retirement isn't the days of leisure I thought it'd be. I get a break starting next week, when the grandkid goes to school. The other grandparents are going to get him after school every day, so I won't be spending so many days with him.

Someday I want to ride Glacier Park, only been in a car a couple times. Won't be this year, might even be closed already. Getting to that time in life where putting things off could mean never doing them, kind of feel like I've wasted this year.
