Gf went to her mom in law's funeral today, was 98. Asked if I wanted to go, but I didn't, never met her husband (she's a widow) or any of his family, would feel out of place going to that funeral; some of the family might not consider it appropriate, too.

Sometimes it is better to take a pass.... I seen awkward things happen at funerals, I usually stay away from them anyway...

I know Doc has been hiding, but that is no excuse to throw that W word around so freely. There are others of us that are offended by its use, also!
Visitation was OK last night. I knew a few people, but spent most of the time sitting in the corner. At least I am well accustomed to sitting in the corner. Today will be lots more emotional for all concerned.
