Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI
Did the Angeles Crest Highway from Wrightwood to LaCanada Flintridge then back to Wrightwood again.
Dina and my friend were flyin through the sweepers 10 seconds ahead of me, I came around the corner and he layed it down before I got there...road rash, bent forks and a destroyed fender. Big log across the cliff top saved him from going over the edge.
We had to rip the fender off so that he could ride back to Ontario.
Other than the crash it's a really good road, lotsa fun up there.

I knew they were both going to fast and I told myself to slow down a notch, which I did.
4th gear sweeper and an off camber corner did it to him.
Every curve but that one had a nice bank to them, so when he went into that one it was up hill and then leveled off and he had nothing to bank into and he washed out when he tried to lean it.
Slid through some gravel in a turn out and nailed the log.

I think about that everytime I go into a corner with a little speed "I hope there isn't any gravel"
