Always glad to share, pal! 1.91" here yesterday, with more overnight. On and off today, too. Hopefully, we'll get some sun tomorrow.

I never get pissed as long as you are driving the speed limit. I only get pissed when some one is below the speed limit holding up a line of traffic.
No matter what I'm driving or riding, if I am holding up more than a couple of cars, I'll pull over and let everyone by. It really frosts my nuts when RV drivers stack everyone up, but refuse to pull over. My dad taught me right about pulling a camping trailer when I was 16.

My 1200 got soaked. Not just wet, drenched. Not a dry spot on it. Now I'll hafta wash and shine it, so much dust in Minnysota air it dries with dirty water spots even after a gully washer. And I jus washed it last summer... I wus so wet I hadda change into dry clothes twice. Oh well, I've been wanting rain, and now the garden sure ain't dry any more. Kinda funny for Minnysota rain, no buildup, no thunder, just kinda light gray overcast and then it was like somebody dynamited the dam. I screwed up, too, chammied the water off in the drive when it quit raining, but before I could move it inside, gulley washer hit. Shoulda just pushed it in the grudge and not worried about the puddles, ended up doing that anyway. Mebbe it'll be shiny, since it got chammied twice.

I've done that with trailers and my first motorcycle when I took long rides; it wouldn't go 50 mph.

Went out and burned up the first tank of gas with the new Air Filter Element.
I got 49.907mpg in the imperial system and 42.3 if I calculate it to a US gallon.

4.5 litres per gallon imperial and 3.8 litres per gallon to a US gallon.

It wouldn't seem so bad if there weren't cars that get better. Of course, they're not as fast, power is something you pay for. Harleys aren't very quick in the motorcycle world, but they'll beat most cars up to their top speed.

I'm hoping my Ural isn't as bad as I'm seeing on the internet; lot of guys say 30-35 mpg, U.S. measure; I've had cars that would do that well - and were faster, too.

Watching Heaven Knows Mr. Allison, Robert Mitchum, WWII. 1957 movie, still a great one, to me anyway. Haven't seen in it in several decades.

Miss Doc in the morning, hope he's ok.
