Was nice and cool up at Big Bear, 77 degrees compared to near a 100 in San Bernardino.
Say Hi to the family for us.

Good friend of mine, Jungleman just traded in his 12 on a new 14 Limited. It is the nicest scoot I've ever seen. Not an ugly piece on it. The lifters are quieter then his old 12 Ultra. He doesn't have enough miles on it to tell how it pulls yet.Supposedly the new cams in them make plenty of power and the air cleaner is less restrictive too. My bike is quiet now with my new lifters but one button on the right bar is broke, will prolly have to replace the whole assembly darnit. I took off the loud Kerkers that I had modified by removing the small restrictor at the end of the baffle which actually made them too loud. Put on a set of the new less restrictive mufflers off a new cat equipped 103. Because my bike is the last year without a cat, it is slightly louder than stock. It is more restrictive over 4 thousand rpm though. I guess you can't have quiet and high RPM power both. It does make for a more mellow ride and you can hear the radio much better. I'm putting the resonator/restrictor pipes back in the Kerker baffles and will stick to those, probably a good balance. They do make good power.
