Thought I'd get a big refund when I cancelled all but the 1200's insurance; nope, got another bill, holy **** did they ever raise the premium on it. Doesn't even begin to be competitive with the companies I called yesterday. Gonna cancel the 1200 tomorrow, too late today, go with another company when I think I'll ride it again. They're old bikes, not worth a whole lot; when I ain't using em for over a month, ain't gonna insure them. Haven't collected a dime on bike insurance anyway, and won't be any accidents in the garage, 'less it burns down. I'll take that chance.

I hear ya, and can understand what you're saying. Just know that for me, nothing replaces the smell of salt air, watching the sun rise or set over the ocean, the sound of the waves, and the scenery that comes with being around it. Daughter's 14.... hoping the job market for powerplant operator's is good in 4 more years.

Trips a trip so far.
Got 17500 kilometers on it, the stock Dunflop rear. The heat and roads here in the S.W. states are murder on the rubber.

I really liked Key West & almost stayed down there. My son was born there. But after long consideration I decided I missed my pine trees & being off in the woods so I came back here. I have never regretted that decision. I would like to get back to the Keys for a visit tho.
Hope you are able to get where you want to be sooner rather than later. Sucks being in the wrong place.
