Yep, like them carbs. Don't always like where they put em, though. 4 of em tucked in here... S'posed to set em up on a flow bench 'fore ya stuf in the bike, but take enuf of the bike apart, and ya can reach the screws to balance em while the bike's runnin. Just gotta figure out how to do it without a gas tank... No, I'd never get a V4 again.

Be a waste of money for most folks, don't put enough miles on the bike inna year to make the extra mileage worth more money. I wouldn't wanna run it more than one riding season, either, just like any oil. Regular Mobil 1 or Amsoil will last a season for most riders. Way this year's going, I could get by on one helping of dino...

I think the gasket thing is an old wive's tale, or would that be an old biker's tale? It will burn more if the valve guides and rings are worn, that's been pretty well established, bodern oil does such a good job these days that you could probably top 50,000 miles and still switch to syn with no problems. Syn cleans so well that there were reports in the early days of it breaking up the sludge and crud stopped up oil passages... been a long time since I've seen one of those engines that looked like they had crude from the ground in them, along with some of the dirt it came from. Some of those early engines with no oil filters (useta be an option, had a '59 without one!) had crud filling up the spaces that moving parts dint move through, pulled some apart that'd make you wonder how they even ran. Mebbe that's why a 50,000 mile car useta be high mileage...
