Mostly just blacks getting angry when a cop or white man shoots one of them, many times more get shot by another black man and that doesn't make big waves. The black community thinks white folks hate them, just don't understand that from a non black viewpoint, their young men are too likely to be killers (news media sure doesn't help with that) and whites are afraid of them. Scared people can react dangerously, too. Might help if cops didn't stop them on a regular basis; seems Minneapolis area cops really concentrate on black folks for traffic stops. A black friend says he gets stopped about every week, but never gets a ticket. He could get a Vet license plate, might help. Or maybe the cops would think he stole it...

Busy day tomorrow.
Gonna ride to some Harlistas house, he's gonna help me do a 3 hour service and swap my rear tire.
Nice to know someone down here who has all the tools, a lift and some time and some beer and some smoke too.
I,m buyin dinner for him, his wife and all their kids...least I could do.

Talked to some insurance agents today, there's at least one good sounding alternative for bike insurance. Meanwhile, dropped everything but the 1200. Spending more on insurance than gas so far this year.

Daughter finally told me she's kinda disappointed I've made no effort to be friendly with her boyfriend. Thought I'd just keep my distance till she decided to bring us together. Boyfriends ain't necessarily permanent, anyway. Got friendly with a couple of em in the past, and it's kinda sad when they ain't around any more.
