Well seeing as I'll prolly be owning the bimmer to trade in day, I decided to make it old school, took off the rigid faring, instrument cluster, moved the headlamp an signals farther up the tubes........First thing I noticed was the look, second was all the exposure to the wind, that little faring moved alot of it.

Daughter stayed at an old motel in the Dells, grandkid got to try one of them newfangled phones with push buttons. Wasn't impressed, ya can't play games on those...

She sent a pic of her with a trout she caught, but I ain't gonna post it, she ain't dressed appropriately for fishin'. Little guy did pretty good.

Said their duck ride was tame, almost boring, just drove a short ways to the water and creeped in; when we went some years back, it was a wild tire squealing ride down a narrow one lane switchback through the woods, stopped at the water's edge, and the driver said we could ease in with hardly a splash, or... he backed up a couple duck lengths, we could make some waves, or... he backed up several duck lengths more, we could splash in... and everbody screams, SPLASH!" Musta thrown water 20' in the air, everbody got a bit wet, daughter loved it. Ok, so did I.

This is a duck, 'case yer wundering. WWII amphibious landing vehicle. Probly more at the Dells than everwhere else combined. Stock photo

Kinda like that here, only some places around me did get some, just not a drop on my garden.

Coastie, remember that capacitor. Most times when the A/C just conks out, that is the problem. Pull the cover off and the cap is usually distorted. A/C folks make a ton of money off service calls around here in the summer for them. Reminds me that I need to buy a couple of backups.
