Last month I stayed out too late and rode through that daylight into night transition, was scary at 45 going through wooded areas, those damned things seem to just materialize in the road that time of day. Had a pair run along with me a few yards away once, could top 30 mph, and a 6' fence is just a hop without slowing down for them. Ever chase them things through a field with tall weeds and they leap up in the air, hit the brakes! I wus going too fast once and jumped off the pegs as hard as I could, cleared the bars and barely made it across the gulley (headfirst into some rocks, helmet looked like ****, but I wus ok). Bike embedded sideways standing on the front wheel, hadda drag it loose and ride down the gulley till I found a spot to get out. Bet them deer were laughing their antlers off.

think I might have terminally injured a coworker today. made some chicken wings... no biggie, right? Well, the sauce I make for them is equal parts sweet baby ray's and Blair's megadeath sauce. Felt sorry for him, so I ate about a half of the ghost pepper he brought in. Needless to say, we were lunchtime entertainment for the crew.... and I have enough left to do it all again tomorrow

Pulled the radiator out of the MG today and tightened up a few things. It had been blowing antifreeze in a few spots. Brakes still mostly don't work, but that is for another day. It was fun to take the boy for a ridearound. Gotta get the brakes better so I can take the grand girls.

Pooped. Drug a bunch of small trees up from the gully again, but these were bigger, and didn't cut them up, just drug them with the mower. Not real easy, but a lot easier. I need to find out how big a tree/limb the rental chippers can handle, might have to cut off some of the bigger trunks.
