My son is here with the girlfriend and their baby. My peace and quiet is shattered. Tomorrow Robert's 2 girls are coming for 6 days. They are 14 and 12. After the next week I will be in need of a vacation. Maybe I should hang out in the RV!

Good morning everyone. Happy Friday! Shopping for glass doors today for Sugar Lips' store and also got an offer to buy out a service department of a sewing center that's closing. I'll have to decide whether to lube the machines with with dino or synthetic and I'll be hopping up the quilting machines with bigger cams and will be burning thread.....I wanted to have a wet T-Shirt contest at the grand opening but due to the elderly nature of my customers might have to order extra long shirts according to my advisor. It's a beautiful sunny day out, Buster is already stretched out on my lap in the recliner, and just farted in my general direction to quote Monty Python. Hey Putzmiester hows the shoulder? Hope it's better than my sniffer....

August can have brutal heat in AZ, Havasu and the flats east of it can top 110 F. I found it was more comfortable to wear leather gloves and a long sleeve shirt in the heat, tried to keep exposed skin to a minimum. The shirt was cooler than that sun and hot dry air on bare skin. Drink every chance you get, plenty of it, you don't realize how much you lose in sweat in that dry heat. Without a windshield (I put them on in the Summer!), I always wore a ff with heavy tinted faceshield. Mesh jacket and pants are wonderful in heat, I'd have sure liked to have them when I lived in AZ, don't think they were available then.

Just checked Havasu weather - 111 (43.9C) today! I don't think I'd want to trade Minnysota with 84 and maybe showers. Wait, what am I saying, I loved riding in AZ, I'm jealous!

Humadity and heat are one of my least favorite weather combinations, right after snow... If I ever leave Frozelandia, it'll be for sumplace I consider comfortable. Unfortunately, they don't speak English in most of those places...

I just saw a pic this week of a mower with bars and forks for the front end, looked kinda fun, only it still had the mower engine. Be a hoot to have one with a Harley motor and my old Kerker Megaphone on it - when the weekend neighborhood lawn mower brigade got started, they'd know when I joined in... and it could lug bigger trees up the hill if'n I put big knobbies on the rear. Or dig holes...

That reminds me, oughta change the oyl in the new mower, done the yard 5 or 6 times with it now, oughta be time to git rid of the break in stuf. I got sum extra syn, but got way more dino... all these decisions...
