Beer break, I'm pooped. Cut more'n I could pick up in one day. Yard's a mess.
First 6 or 7' are crushed down into the first foot. Finally got solid enough to start gaining altitude. Shed's a bit shy of 12' high. Once in a while there's a cracking sound, and it settles some more.
Both piles taller than me, and more lined up against the neighbor's fence in the dark area. Hundreds of limbs in each pile. Plan is to back the chipper right up to the piles, take way too long to lug them from where they were cut to the chipper, hope to do it all in one day. Couple neighbors are trimming, too, and we'll do the chipper all together.
Don't look like much in the pic, gave up dragging up the hill, gonna get the mower out and tow most of this. Thought I could cut all that tree, but when I got enough cleared out for a good look, two limbs are hooked over the neighbor's phone lines. Crap.
Don't look like much of a hill till you drag tree bits up it. That crooked evergreen and ash are coming down, too, and a big green mess down in the bottom. Haven't even started on the front yard yet, not sure I'm even at the halfway point.
