Also did you try going back to a "restore" point? Going back to a date prior to the computer acting up can sometimes help. Or worse case scenario do a complete "factory restore" which will format the HD and be like it was the day she got it.
If it's running Windows and not a Mac...

Sure hasn't been much evening activity around here lately. Don't know about you, but I think it's past my bedtime.

Morning JDub. Hope that it works for you. I find it a very useful program for people who are not careful.

That would be the OL with her facebook and all those games.. I have to fix her computer every other month. Wipe all the BS off of it, scan in, disk clean up, ect. There is no important info on her computer like bank info, ect. So, what ever the spyware folks are getting off her computer probably makes them go BWAHahahaha !

I don't know how to get rid of a virus on a Mac. Have never had one. I don't even run antivirus software on my Macs.

Yeah that is the stuff that those idiots like to piggy back their viruses on. That is a good idea to have a clean, safe computer to do all of the "surfing" on and another that is only used for important stuff.

I still have my Mac Book, and I never have had trouble with it. My windows laptop has all my important stuff on it, but I take care of it.
