Cuttin grass... would be a misery to do that here right now, would be soaking wet in a few minutes. And there's no rain... Daughter's got one of them self propelled things, still a workout on the hill out back, still gotta turn em and back em up. Been using it to get under trees, though when I finish with them, shouldn't be any in the yard I can't ride next to the trunk. I like those zero turns, got a few hours on them, but too pricey for what I got, way cheaper rider does it all in less than an hour.
We could only make about 500 miles today in the heat. 100* with nary a cloud in the sky all afternoon. It was a brutal day, saved only by a side trip to Devil's Tower, which is high on my list of favorite places. Doc wilted a couple of times, and I kept a close eye on him. The last 20 miles were almost too much for me. All is well now, after standing in the shower for a bit. We are currently in Chamberlain, SD. We will just have to see how far we can go tomorrow, since it looks to be another scorcher crossing the blahlands.

No worries, mate! We had DQ for desert last night and for lunch today. Don't know if there is a DQ in this town, we are too tired to go out and look. We had a bag of jerky I have been carrying around for dinner.
