Mornin', PuTZ.....ya gotta be goin' crazy. One week and I'm gettin' antsy. If I can get one of my kids to help, gonna swap out the window A/C in the garoffice.Been usin' a 23 y/o 22,000 BTU one for about 8 years that I had in the house. Cools the 600sf pretty fast but not too efficient or quiet. SIL dropped off a 2 y/o 18,000 BTU unit that he got somewhere, should be a lot better. Damn thing is too heavy for me to screw with by myself. Even has a remote so I don't havta get out of my chair.

KR, sometimes when the pain doesn't go away, you kinda get used to it. Still hurts, though, just adapt to living with it. Hope I never get something that never goes away, known some folks that had that happen. Pain tends to make me grumpy. Well, grumpier...

Got the throttle cable on the commie rig free enough to use about half throttle without sticking. Now I know the transmission werks, too. Without the tub on the sidecar frame, it sure lifts that third wheel easy! Kinda squirrely for steering, see why it has a steering damper, I gotta learn to ride all over again with this rig. Pulls better'n I expected, too, could run away from the daughter's 250 Honda, and that's just using a little throttle. Gotta get the tub back on, give the little guy a ride. Mebbe I should get a license plate and insurance first... The neighbors haven't paid much attention to my bikes so far, but this sure had em coming over for a look.

Temp is warm, heading into hot, and expected to get about scorch tomorrow. Wuddn't be so bad, but the humadity is going up with it. Grudge is too hot now, bit a garden werk and now it's iced tea time. Sure is quiet outside, even the kids are staying inna house. Ain't heard a single mower, either, unusual; some folks in this neighborhood mow two or three times a week, usually got them little motors going all day on weekends.
KR, Mrs. K drive that mower?
