Busy day. Got some bike werk done.
Ever see anything like this? I haven't, till now. Were all rust covered, no sign of grease. Typical professional mechanic quality...
That bolt goes through the back of that black tube.
When you tighten the bolt, it draws the clamps into that tapered tube, and locks onto the ball. They had some weird engineering back in the 40's, or was it the 30's...
Daughter and kid having fun with the toys.
This one turned out strange...
Gotta fix a little rust inside, touch up some paint, get a buncha new bolts, and the tub will go back on. Be glad when it looks like this again.

Looks good oldeee.... family involvement is real good... we spent the evening in th grudge werkin on the crashed 4-wheeler. Straightend out a tab on the frame and somehow I got it welded back in place. Thats it for the welding until after I am healed.... too hard to do it...

Moldy, that clamp looks like something they would use during the Inquisition sort of a way to get answers quicker.
Al glad to hear you doing better, had that equilibrium problem once, five days off the bottle it stopped, went back to the bottle
