Depends on the who's & wherefroms. Manager at the fence co got promoted to a bigger operation in part due to me bringin in more business & Houston sent a 6 foot 4 real dweeb of a cowboy up here, I'm sure because they wanted to get rid of him, to take his place. The new guy had 10 yrs with the company. SOB laid me off after a few months, (actually done me a favor), because I wouldn't kiss his ***, & give my job to a cowboy from around here, whos job I got for him, because he would kiss his ***. Assistant manager was pissed! About a year after that one of the guys I worked with there called me & told me he really fuked up gettin rid of me. I was like duh. About 2 yrs later nobody that worked there when I did still worked there including the new cowboy manager. He got fired. lol My Texas cowboy story.

Yup I know what you mean. Sometimes these company's have no Idea who is making there money for them. I used to be the only one of the hourly employees that knew the "SMART" system at work and they wouldn't leave me alone. I bid to another job where they couldn't get to me for help. They found me anyway and the day I wuz leaving for retirement I was called to the SMART office to help the guy that took over the job. He had NO idea what he was doing.

About time.....Gotta get mine to-go. GeritolBrigade meeting this morning. Haven't been to one in a couple months. Jumpin' on the bike and ridin' up 50 miles is fun...drivin' up in the SUV.....well.....SUCKS!

I dunno....must be lack of fresh air...havta drive with my head out the window. On the plus side, I could use it as a pothole scouting trip... Gotta get dressed and get out of here...later.
