training.... never ends. When I finished the 18month training program, was told the only time I'd have to study was if I wanted to move up. Then they brought in quarterly tests, and of course the mandatory government safety/environmental training at the beginning of the year. Guess it's all good, everything out here is a ticking time bomb... but it still gets old.

Morning John.
Yeah the guberment has to get their fingers into every slice of pie don't they. I was once told that Ford had to pay a 10 million dollar penalty to WSIB even before the year started. There were just too many Azzholes that were abusing the system at that time. Starting a couple of years before I retired, even if you broke your leg at work Ford would tell WSIB "we can accommodate him/her). I guess it was cheaper for Ford to stick them behind a desk punching numbers into a computer than have them out on WSIB?

guess Ford is big enough for that. You get that kind of hurt out here, you ain't comin back til you're fit for duty... only desk jobs belong to management. When you have pumps putting out 4500psi @ 33000gpm, you need to be able to move in a hurry when the **** hits the fan.

Some of the painting equipment that we worked around were putting out something like 90,000 volts. You get hit with that you won't be going anywhere in a hurry

Mornin posers, hope everyone is feeling better that wasn't feeling so good. Only problem here is the weather. Garden is soaked and it looks like we are getting more rain today.
