I feel good about this one Doc. Saving up to adress the suspension. Next winter parts off to powdercoat.

Ya...I really think that failure was a bad snapring, and not your fault at all. Getting those rings seated fully in the groove is generally not something you would miss. I know I always made sure they were fully seated and double checked every one.

Me too Doc. It happens but it never realy bothered me. Just had to get it done. Didnt break the bank and I got to confirm all is good in the cases. Really happy to go through the tranny. Easy and rewarding.

Yeah, I don't know what I'm going to do when It comes time to go thru mine. I'm seriously thinking of going with a DD7. Gets closer to the time, I'll hafta havea serious talk with Mark.

If you could fondle both I think I know what you would do. I would like to see one first hand. The 6 isnt that bad but now id say a must to re build at 100k.

We'll see. Only reason I'm thinking is that heavy bagger could use a little more grunt on the very bottom and I understand the DD7 will give that and leave all the rest of the gearing the same.

Yes. I hated mine stock. After cams it was better. Ratio isnt the best.

Like I say, The low end could be better on the hills around here....out on the open road though, it's not bad at all.
