Bummer!! Sorry I had to step out for awhile. Just as I sent the above note I heard a horrendous crash, and the alarm on my car went off! We live on a residential street, with a 25MPH speed limit. Some @$$hole in a Range Rover managed to cross to the left side of the street, and hit my car in the left front with enough impact to push my car up on the curb and back 6' on top of the car behind me. Can you say...Distracted Driver?!!! Fortunately no one was hurt...except for my feelings. The offending driver was driving a new company owned Range Rover, and driving on an international license. So, We called the police, and the cop that came basically said call your insurance company...and he did not cite the driver of the Range Rover.

I was able to drive my car off the other car, and both of the cars then had a cigarette.

Fortunately the offending driver's company has good insurance.

 

KR won't be behind ya on this trip though I know he would much rather be there than in PA! Went to the doc emergently this morning; hAs an infection in his elbow (probably cellulitis) related to the shoulder injury. The doctor rEad his mri and the supraspunatus tendon is torn and the infraspinatus as well. Scheduled surgery for august 14, but is on antibiotics now to get rid of the infection before he can have the surgery!

 

AUGUST 14TH!!!! He has to deal with the pain till then. Can't they put a rush on it or something. Sheesh, Doctors.

 

Sorry to hear, but it's the day after my birthday that's even worse
