There are so many paypal/internet scams I've read about where people supposedly pay online and have the bike shipped that I think I'd stick with cash when they pick the bike up in person. If he wants to use paypal, how's he gonna pick up the bike? If a vet overseas wanted the bike, would have to have someone pick it up - I'd tell him to send the money to that someone to give you the cash. I've always done cash deals with bikes, buying or selling, don't think I'd do it any other way. You just listed it, right? Might be safer to let it ride a while. But I'm no expert on Paypal, that's why I'm cautious about it.

Yes it's a common scam, they wire the money to paypal, then you wire it to the bank , then paypal gets stiffed, and gets their money back from you.....meanwhile the bike is bye bye......I emailed him; cashiers check registered mail........or no sale.
Thanks Mike.
