I will sit outside the gate and sleep under the tree.....

 

I think they charge for that now, too. Sumtin' to do with the budget.

It's good for National Parks, National Historic Sites, and most other Federally run places that may charge an admission fee.

 

Tree Update: (Not that anybody gives a ****. lol)...

As you may remember I had this tree...


It had to go...








With the help of my good neighbor, on the roof of his garage & pulling the rope that I had previously attached to the tree, well...

Mess with the best & fall like the rest...







I must admit that last bit had me slightly worried. Standing on the already cut stumps, with the neighbor pulling, I made the cut. When it started to fall towards the garage I dropped the sawzall, which as you can see was hanging by bungies, crouched down, (it was falling in the direction I was standing), & hung on. The cut piece fell gently against my back. I climbed out from that precarious position & finished the cut.
This photo shows the second cut. The first cut was made several feet higher up.



Now I gotta open up the fence & get the chainsaw out.

How did you get the pass?

 

I think I pretty much have the route there figured out. I'll have to confer with you and Doc, regardless!

 

I bought it. $80. Next year, you'll be able to get a lifetime one for like $20.

 

I am following.... just don't go off the switchback.....
