Been gazing at maps for hours plotting various possibilities to get where we need to get. Trying to stay off as many Interstates as possible, see some stuff, but still proceed in the correct direction at an acceptable pace.

Ken, if you have documentation that states you wanted next-day air, and they bungled it, you should make them ship another seat in the correct fashion, along with return shipping so you can ship the late seat back. Stupidity should hurt (them).

58* this morning. It was nice to open up the house last night and turn on the whole-house fan. Made for great sleeping!

That was the best place in the whole world for a tie rod to fall off. I like things to go bad in the driveway. Several years ago, daughter's car battery died in the drive, went and got a new one, but we had to go sumwhere that evening and told her we'd just take my car. Sure enough, the battery was dead in mine, had to put the new one in her's after all. Neither battery would take a charge, either; what are the chances two batteries would die at the same time? Had a dead fuel pump in the drive twice, and the Bonneville's computer died in the drive. Either I'm lucky that way, or my driveway's cursed...
