Sitting at Surdikies getting a new battery. Beautiful day outside. They have a Breakout that is completely chrome, from the paint on down. No way, Jose! They have one each of the 500 and the 750. They look OK but I wouldn't buy one. Lots of inventory and a few lookers. I have looked at them all twice now, and I am still not even slightly interested.

Wouldn't feel right stiffing a poser for postage. Shocks are probably worth more than that, too.

Argh. Thought I'd take the kid to the St. Paul zoo, been a long time since I've been there, and they've added a little people amusement park. Interstate had some road construction, traffic backed up far as I could see, so thought I'd just take the stoplight roads, be faster. Ha. If you don't know your way around the lack of east west through streets, the turn a different direction streets, and the streets that don't cross the river/railroad/freeways, that ain't as easy as it sounds - and I don't. About an hour later I decided there wasn't enuf time left; the little guy had to settle for pizza back in the home area after driving over an hour and a half instead of maybe 35-40 minutes. He didn't seem to mind, got lucky.

Was a customized sporty and a shovel in front of the pizza place, sure don't see many shovels up here. Kinda worn looking, I liked it. If the owner sees this, hope he doesn't mind I took the pic. Darned windshield reflection sure messed it up.

I got my new battery and man, what a difference in cranking. That old one had to be getting close to the end of its days. Then I promptly rode into town and got a haircut. So, about all I gotta do now is load the bike up and ride!

IN THIS HI-TECH WORLD, WE LOST OUR SENSE OF HUMANITY.....THE WORLD IS STERILE,COLD...(EVEN WHEN IT'S A HEAT WAVE), I really feel sorry for the future of mankind.
everything from texting while driving to the carelessness on the news reported daily.........We have had it lord, in spades......'least I know I have.
