when we were paying our respects to a friends grandad that got killed in normandy in 44,(the misses n i went to the dday celebrations on the 6th june.) well strolling around the grave yard to the left of cemetery are the german dead,well planted right next to one german, was a jewish fallen soldier!! my misses said "bet they have some right barneys"!! sad but ironic..sadder is its lost on the youth of today..

But for less than half the price this one's pretty quick, too. And one of the top three Harleys I'd like to have in my collection, even has the engine/trans upgrade I'd like in one. If I hadn't already bought the Glide, I'd have looked at this one. Bet I could find a couple thousand bucks worth of stuff to fix on it, though, like getting an original tour pack, if the owner doesn't have it.

Just yanking your chain, a turbo would probably be a gas hog for a touring bike. The FXRT would be a little lacking in luggage capacity, but otherwise should be a good all day bike. Something that old, you'd probably need to be a bit above average in wrenching skill...
