I did not ride today. By the time I got out of sister's house, 2:30PM, the Friday stupids start hitting the roads. Usually, I ride in the morning hours around weekends, just so I can avoid the masses. Riding during the week days is one of the best parts of being retired. I do not like crowds in any form.

So I am out running around yesterday morning to get trim for the trailer and stop by Dukes. I tell them that Julia works until 2:00 and I have people coming to look at the trailer at 3:00 so if I am not there by 4:00 when they close to just leave my bike outside and keep the key in the shop. I go back at 7:00 to get the bike....... it is not outside!!!!!!!!
Well maybe somebody stole it? So check inna winder of the shop and it is sitting in there!!!! They are not open on Sundays!!!! It is going to be a beautiful day to ride today too!!!!

Went up to Watkins Glen, the back way, yesterday. Over to Ithaca down to Owego. Owego had pretty much the whole town closed down for some kinda festival. Ya'd swear the Pope was in town. Got to test the new bike in stop and go, mostly stopped traffic.Heat was not a problem...happy about that.
